We search high and low for emerging design clients who with a little "kick" can grow, grow, grow, as well as more established brands that need to “kick” it up a notch.

Founded by Kate Sullivan in 2005, Kick PR was created from Kate’s love of fashion and design, and strong public relations and communication skills. She has a sound reputation for working with emerging designers to create the awareness they need to succeed.

In 2009 looking for ways to grow, Sullivan formed a partnership with industry veteran Sharon Schoenberg, a long time friend and confidante. The combination of Kate’s foothold in the designer market and superior editorial relationships with Sharon’s experience building communications strategies for fashion, lifestyle and nonprofit brands, creates a win-win for clients big and small.

Today, Kick PR continues to work with emerging designers while spreading its wings to include more established brands and other aspects of design. We integrate sound strategy, media relations, product placement, celebrity seeding and event planning to deliver first-rate results. Kick sets itself apart by offering every client hands-on attention from a pair of seasoned, passionate PR professionals.

About Kate SullivanKate has been passionate about fashion since she was a young girl. Her mother has vivid memories of Kate changing outfits at least five times a day and being completely immersed in her dress up closet, which was full of her great grandmother’s gowns and hats. It's no surprise that she ended up in an industry that celebrates style and design.

Since graduating from the University of Denver in 2000, Kate has dipped her toes in a number of interesting fields that have helped her succeed today. Her experiences in TV production, on air appearances with QVC and The Today Show, and extensive writing for websites such as PR Couture and Fashion Indie, have contributed to her success.

Kate began her PR career in Newport, RI working for fashion designer Angela Moore. While Kate oversaw the PR/Marketing division at the company, she was able to build strong relationships with editors at top magazines, stylists, and the wardrobe departments at popular television shows. Kate became immersed in fashion and PR, and fell in love with her work.

In 2004, Kate decided to make the leap to the Big Apple and start a PR firm on the premise of working with emerging designers to help them get the exposure they needed and deserved. Kick PR was born.
